1. What ScoreBadger is

ScoreBadger is a free-to-play football score prediction game. You predict Premier League match scores, earn points based on accuracy, and compete on leaderboards. ScoreBadger is not a gambling service - there are no entry fees, no wagering, and no real-money prizes unless explicitly stated in a specific promotion.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Each person should only have one account. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, including accounts created for the purpose of manipulating leaderboards or league standings.

4. Fair play

To keep the game fair for everyone:

• Do not create multiple accounts to gain an advantage
• Do not use automated tools or bots to submit predictions
• Do not attempt to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the app
• Do not harass, abuse, or impersonate other users

We may remove users who violate fair play rules without prior notice.

5. Predictions and scoring

Predictions must be submitted before a match kicks off. Once a match starts, predictions for that fixture are locked and cannot be changed. Points are calculated automatically based on official match results. We use third-party data providers for match results and while we aim for accuracy, we are not liable for errors or delays in result data.

6. Premium subscriptions

ScoreBadger offers an optional premium tier with additional features. Payments are handled securely via Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis - contact us if you have a concern.

7. Intellectual property

The ScoreBadger name, logo, and website design are our intellectual property. Premier League, club names, and crests are trademarks of their respective owners. We use match data under licence from third-party providers.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep ScoreBadger available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update features, scoring rules, or these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.

9. Limitation of liability

ScoreBadger is provided "as is". We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we are not liable for any losses arising from use of the service, including incorrect scores, missed predictions due to technical issues, or data loss. Our maximum liability to you is limited to any fees you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
